Mary Louise Lihan's Obituary
Mary Louise Lihan (Woodring) was born on September 5, 1936 in Muskegon, MI. She passed on March 14, 2020 at a local hospital. Mary graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1954. She worked as a key punch operator at Teledyne Continental for many years. There were many things that Mary loved such as sewing, baking and bingo. She was an avid Detroit sports fan, she loved the Lions and Tigers and watched them religiously. She also liked Nascar and especially Tony Stewart. Mary leaves behind her sister, Laurel Bell Hendrick “Baebell” and her children, Larry Lihan, Cynthia (Martin) Gilmore, Charlene (Randy) Lihan; beloved grandchildren, Rachelle (Justin) McMann, Melissa (Preston) Pierce, Jackie (Jim) Gilmore, Nicole (Nicholas) Carothers, Heather (Zachary) McCombs, Felicia Lihan and Ashley and her great grandchildren; Nicholas and Autumn McMann, Draven and Roman Pierce, Daven Gilmore, Brodi Carothers, Hayley Sikkenga, Tannor, Brantley and Oaklynn Helsen and Madison Pie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Caughey. Gramma Mary was be deeply missed by everyone who loved her. Her favorite thing in the world was being a grandma. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at The Lee Chapel South Portico of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Dave Schoonbeck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
