Mary Martin's Obituary
Mrs. Mary I. Martin, age 87, passed away Thursday evening, September 16, 2004 at a local nursing home. She was born March 24, 1917 to John and Hazel (McCrill) Heath in Mesick, and lived in the Muskegon are for over 50 years. She had worked at Brunswick and Anaconda, attended Calvary Church, and was a volunteer for Senior Services for many years. She married Edward G. Martin on July 1, 1933 in Mesick, and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1994. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Elaine Riegler of The Villages, FL, Keith (Mary) Martin of Whitehall, Linda Martin of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Raymond, in 1989, 1 grandson, Charles, in 1989, son-in-law, Tom Riegler, in 2003, brother Archie Heath, half-sister, Effie Coates. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231) 759-8565 with Rev. Eric Strattan officiating.
