Mrs. Mary Ann Mulder's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ann Mulder, age 88, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was born in Evanston, IL on January 17, 1924 to Gustof Sigfried and Elsie Wilhelmina (Olson) Johnson and had been a resident of Muskegon for 65 years. Mrs. Mulder retired in 1986 from the State of Michigan after 17 years. She was a member of Cloverville Baptist Church and loved to spread the gospel any chance she could. On October 30, 1942, she married Vernon W. Mulder in Reeman, MI and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1996. She is survived by 7 children, Elsa (Henry Cevallos) Mulder, Carol Funderburg, Brad W. (Angie) Mulder, Barry A. Mulder, Tomas L.(Ruth) Mulder, John V. (Ellen) Mulder and Stephen J. Mulder; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild (and one on the way); and 1 brother, Robert Johnson. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with Rev. Joshua Rager officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
