Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Naill, age 90, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. She was born September 2, 1929 in Baltimore, MD to David T. and Hilda B. (Rigler) Rigney. Betty married Wm. E Naill, Sr. in Baltimore, MD on October 18, 1947 and he survives her. She worked in data processing for B & O Railroad. She attended Eastwood Church of the Nazarene and the Church of the Brethren. Survivors include her husband, Bill Naill; 2 children, Wm E. “Ed” (Ginerva) Naill, Jr., Pamela (Kevin) Vasey; 6 grandchildren, Andrea (Jon) Alderink, Wm. E. Naill III, Jennifer (Nate) Vasey Flanders, Aaron (Thea) Vasey, Angela Draeger, Benjamin (Brenda) Vasey; 15 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Jacob, Samantha, Maverick, Gregory, Kylee, Oliver, Selah, Stella, Lunaria, Levi, Kol, Meira, Clarence Jedediah; 2 brothers, John Rigney, Tommy Rigney; and 1 sister, Barbara Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 siblings. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. Aaron Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Saturday. Memorial Contributions may be directed to The Wounded Warrior Project.
