Mrs. Mary Jean Priest 's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jean Priest, age 80, passed away Sunday morning, February 4, 2018. Mary was born February 25, 1937 in Muskegon to Thomas and Katie (Manners) Norris. On March 1, 1953 she married Norman Priest and he survives her. Mary was a wonderful homemaker and also worked for several years as a secretary for Westshore Survey until 1986. She was a member of Turning Point Church, and in addition to Norman, her husband of 64 years; is survived by her children, Gail (Jerry) Rose of Cincinnati, OH, Mark (Rosemary) Priest of Muskegon, and Norma Ellis of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Charity Ann (Ray) Kostopoulos, Cassandra and Aaron Ellis; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; and her son-in-law, David Ellis. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2 pm Friday, February 9, 2018, at Turning Point Church, 1253 E. Hile Rd. with Pastor Kevin McCormick officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Turning Point Church. Interment in Egelston Township Cemetery.
