Mary Robbins' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Robbins, age 93, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born December 27, 1921 in Ferrysburg to Glen and Florence (Courneyer) Brown.
Mary was an avid reader and spent many hours with a good book, she also volunteered for many years at Sanctuary at the Shore.
On March 25, 1944 she married Sherman Robbins in Grand Haven and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1994. She is survived by 4 children: Sherry (Arthur) Benedict of North Muskegon, Sherman (Alvena) Robbins of Caledonia, Douglas (Pamela) Robbins of Tampa, FL, and Craig (Barbara) Robbins of Fort Meyers, FL; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Mary will be 5-8 PM Thursday, April 2, 2015 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. A private family service will take place the following day at Spring Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be given to the Parkinson Foundation.
