Mrs. Mary Louise Rogers' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Louise Rogers, age 73, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at her home. Mary was born May 20, 1938 to George and Elizabeth (Gleason) Munford in Volney, MI. On October 20, 2001 she married Stephen H. Rogers and together they enjoyed camping, fishing and family gatherings. Mary loved her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of puppies. She was employed as a bus driver for the Muskegon Public School Systems for 30 years as well as a crossing guard for many years. Mary is SURVIVED by her husband, Steve; children, Lori (Kenneth) Chezik of Fife Lake, MI, Kent (Tamela) Norwood and Curtis Norwood, all of Muskegon and Jodi Strong of Brown City, MI; 4 grandchildren, Brittney, Christie, Jay, Steve and other adopted grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 8 brothers, Larry Munford of MO, Dale Munford of Mayfield, Wayne (Connie) Munford, Bruce (Kathy) Munford, all of Muskegon, Gary Munford of Gaylord, MI, Kenny (Mary Ann) Munford of Hesperia, David Munford of MO and Ronnie (Jodi) Munford of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Paula Munford of Holton and Debbie (Rex) Carr of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held from 3:00–7:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Mary’s home.
