Mary Lou Stever's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Lou Stever, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Muskegon. She was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on January 3, 1945 to Milton and Wavery (Bennett) Quillin and moved to Muskegon as a child. Mary graduated from Orchard View High School in 1963. She fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Allen Stever, and they were married on July 10, 1965. Together they enjoyed road trips to northern Michigan, trips to Mackinac Island, and spending time at their cabin near Ruby Creek. She also enjoyed shopping with her daughter, Brenda, and gardening with her brother, David. Mary will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, Allen; her daughter, Brenda E. (Joseph Vanderlaan) Sprader; brother, David (Sheila) Quillin; and several nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, services for Mary will be private.
