Mary Jane Streeter's Obituary
Mary Jane Streeter, age 87, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born on October 30, 1937, to Jules and Yulah (Smith) Dupont in Mt. Clemens, MI. Mary Jane was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church and previously attended Calvary Church (Muskegon) and Romeo First Baptist Church. She was a long-time member of the Romeo Monday Club and after retirement, operated a successful antique shop in Port Sanilac, MI. In her free time, Mary Jane enjoyed china painting, sewing, and tatting. On May 10, 1958, she married John Streeter, celebrating 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. She is survived by her two children: Gay (Brian) Landstrom of North Muskegon and John (Kimberly) Streeter of Almont, MI. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Noah Landstrom, Sarah Landstrom, Hannah Landstrom, Andrew “Drew” Streeter, and Timothy Streeter, as well as five great-grandchildren: Adelynn Streeter, Bo Streeter, Grayson Streeter, Brynlee Streeter, and Autumn Streeter, along with several nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Dupont, her sister Ruth Adams, and Kera Streeter, granddaughter-in-law. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held for Mary Jane at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 7, 2025, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI. There will be a live stream link available the day of the service at https://www.youtube.com/live/nq4pG0I4_Oo. Visitation with the family will take place from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
