Mary D. Swartz's Obituary
Mary D. Swartz, age 88, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 25, 1933, to Ellery and Bernice (Boodry) Michaels in Pequaming, MI. On November 12, 1955, she married Robert Swartz in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 49 years full of love and laughter. Robert preceded her in death on February 26, 2005. Mary was a faithful servant of Our Lord and long-time member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending her time crafting and playing cards with her friends and family. Mary will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 2 sons, Kurt R. (Joyce) Swartz and Michael J. Swartz; daughter, Deniece Rae (William) Hause; 3 grandchildren, Heather, Sara and Jenna; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Verna (Bill) Corgan; and 4 brothers, George Michaels, Ellery Michaels, Harold Michaels and Lyle Michaels.
