Mary Lee Teasley's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Lee Teasley, age 80, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 following a brief cancer diagnosis. She was born in Muskegon on December 13, 1943 to Leon and Donna (Hanson) Noel. Mary was a kind and caring lady, a loving family member, and a dear friend to many. For over 20 years, she worked as the Junior Volunteer Coordinator at North Ottawa Community Hospital gift shop and oversaw the candy striper program. During those years she mentored numerous high school girls and built relationships that were never forgotten. On July 14, 2017, Mary married Michael J. Flynn at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, and he survives her along with her son, Mathew (Christine) Teasley; twin grandsons, Henry and Sam; brothers, David Noel and Jim Noel; nieces, Nicole and Kristy; nephews, Andrew and Joe; and all of Mike’s loving family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Teasley; parents; and sister, Roberta “Bobbie” Noel. VISITATION will be from 4-7 PM Monday, April 22, 2024 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 10:30AM Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1100 Dykstra Rd., North Muskegon, MI 49445. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
