Mary Ann Tice's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ann Tice, age 85, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Muskegon. Mary Ann was born on March 7, 1930 to Lawrence and Katherine (Schivaika) Ozga and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. On December 18, 1975 she married Ezra Tice in Grand Haven. She enjoyed country music, fishing, reading, cooking, gardening and animals; but first and foremost was her family. SURVIVORS include her husband of 40 years, Ezra; children, Mary K. Barnhard, Charles E. (Karen) Parnell, and Teresa J. Doyle; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Eva Finlay. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert E. Parnell II; sisters, Helen Vandenbosch and Irene Orcutt; brothers, Peter, Mike, Stefan and Nick. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 5, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Jeff Helbert officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Red Cross.
