Getting to know her through Kathleen she became "Aunt Mary" to all of us. She was a lovely lady who I enjoyed spending time with and talking about her life. I missed not seeing her everyday when I left my job but she was always with me in spirit. RIP Aunt Mary. You will be missed!

I'm so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I feel blessed to have known her, and Frank, and their 6 wonderful daughters. What a beautiful family! I look back at the time I spent hanging out at the house on Porter Rd. with Lori, Patty, a lucky guy named 'Steve', and the "Rugrats" with fond memories. (Sorry, Sue & Amy - you know I love ya.) Your mom was one of the nicest, sweetest people I've ever known. In your time of grief, take comfort in knowing she touched the lives of so many, in such positive ways. May she rest in peace.

Dear Amy & family,
I hope all the memories you receive of your mom will help ease this time of sadness. Your mom was such a remarkable woman to say the least. There are two memories that come to mind that make me smile. One is when your mom would answer the phone pretending to be Betty Boop. Amy, you were so embarrassed when she did this but she thought it was so funny. Another Mary Ann funny is when Amy was learning to drive. Your dad sat in front with you while I sat in back with your mom who was "reading" the newspaper! Hilarious! You all were so fortunate to have Mary Ann for your mom.

I worked with Susan Hieb for many, many years and she shared so many stories about her "Aunt Whissie" that I felt I knew her. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
