Mrs. Mary J. Vukits' Obituary
Mrs. Mary J. Vukits, age 90, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 20, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born November 13, 1922 in Dodgeville, WI to Clarence and Madella (Limmex) Kiley, and moved to the Muskegon in 1947. Mary was a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Army during WWII, and later worked as an RN at Hackley Hospital for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed volunteering for different organizations, and also gardening. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. On February 15, 1947 Mary married Frank J. Vukits in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1995. SURVIVORS include 1 brother, John Kiley of Kalamazoo; 1 sister, Nellie DeLong of New Orleans; 1 sister-in-law, Mary (George) Dake of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Tom Dake. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr.
