Mary M. Ward's Obituary
Mary M. Ward, age 79, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born June 18, 1937 in Hart, MI to Leonard “Jack” and Margaret Flory. Mary was married to Edwin D. Ward for over 50 years before he preceded her in death on July 16, 2011. She enjoyed collecting, was tech savvy, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. SURVIVORS include 4 children: Rocky Ward of Twin Lake, Randy (Annette) Ward of New Era, Lenny Ward of LeRoy, MI, Tammy Strickler of Fruitport; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Rillie and Tillie; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Jackie Venne and Barbara Roomsburg. SERVICES for Mary will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2017 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
