Mary Winegar's Obituary
Mary Winegar, age 68, of Fruitport, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Poppen Residence. She was born September 1, 1949 in Grand Rapids to Calvin and Julia (DeHaan) Dykstra.
Mary enjoyed being outside, spending time in her garden, walking the beach and being at Lake Michigan. She also liked to travel, having been to almost all 50 states. She had a passion for animals, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by two children, Kristina (David) Thomsen of Portland, Oregon, and Sara (Todd Beck) Wildey of Spring Lake; three siblings: Jack Dykstra, Tom (Kathleen) Dykstra, and Judy (Tom) Peterson; special aunt and uncle, Marge and Gordon Konyndyk; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Julia; nephew, Bryan Peterson.
