Mary A. Rankin's Obituary
Mrs. Mary A. Rankin, age 85, died Monday evening, November 10, 2003. She was born April 29, 1918 in Baldwin, MI to Joseph and Martha (Kison) Ivanick and resided in Muskegon for most of her life. Mrs. Rankin worked for Teledyne Continental Motors for 35 years before her retirement in 1983. She had been a hair stylist, enjoyed the outdoors, and gardening. Mrs. Rankin attended St. Mary’s of the Woods Catholic Church and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She had also been active in the Cursillo movement. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Mark (Mary Ann) Rankin, Rita Thayer, James Rankin; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Evanick, Paul (Juanita) Ivanick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at
