Mary Alice (Javinsky) Haun's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Alice (Javinsky) Haun, age 88, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Seminole Shores Living Center. She was born January 13, 1921 in Muskegon Heights, MI to John and Theresa (Vida) Javinsky and was a life resident. On July 25, 1942, she married Harry F. Haun in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2006. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary helped her husband Harry raise and show Sealyham Terriers for many years. She was very proud of her Hungarian heritage and would cook with Hungarian paprika to spread “Hungarian Love”. SURVIVORS include 2 nieces, Theresa (Larry) Grimmer, Roberta (Dave Gray) Packard; 2 nephews, Michael Simon and Raymond (Chris) Simon; 2 aunts, Margaret Vida and Helen Vida; several cousins, great nieces and great nephews and many dear friends. Along with her husband, Harry, she was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, John and 1 sister, Theresa. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 23, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown as celebrant. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Mausoleum. VISITATION with Mary’s family will be held in the Victor Miller Room one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Friday.
