Mary Alyce Franklin's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Alyce Franklin, age 82, passed away Friday, April 30, 2004 in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born November 10, 1921 to Harry and Mary Elizabeth (Bartholomew) Graves in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She loved her home surroundings in the woods, cooking, shopping, and especially celebrating seasonal holidays. Mary Alyce was preceded in death by her late husband, Paul Franklin, in 1997, and her son, John E. Kane II. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Mary Ann Sara of Royal Oak, MI; 3 grandchildren, Julie Briton, James Sara, and Mary Jo Baize; 3 great-grandchildren, Corey Sara, Jason and Jacob Baize; brothers and sisters, Kay Cooper of Glen Arbor, MI, Dorcas Cutter of Muskegon, Elizabeth Wilder of Muskegon, and Neva Skoglund of Muskegon. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 with Rev. Dr. Randall R. Hansen officiating.
