Dear Mary-Lyn,
I am very sorry for your loss. My brother notified me-I have not lived in MI in 23+ years and have been in FL for over 8 so I am out of the loop. Your mom was THE GREATEST, nicest, most patient 1st grade teacher any kid could have. My dad was still Super. then and he said he always made sure his kids were with the "best" teacher. Believe it or not, I can still remember some episodes from 1st grade and still have a little angel (the boys made snowmen) ornament made from a hairclip that we did in class that December of 1966!!!
