Mary E. (Wagenmaker) Johnson, age 29, along with her unborn baby, went to be with their Lord Monday evening, August 13, 2007 as the result of a cerebral vascular accident. Mary was born December 26, 1977 to Harvey and Judith (Woodin) Wagenmaker in Muskegon, and lived here all of her life. She worked as a graphic designer for Ground Heaters for the past 7 years. She loved her fiancé, her family, and her golden retriever Sydney. SURVIVORS include her Mom and Dad, Judy and Harvey Wagenmaker of Norton Shores; her fiancé and soul mate, Steven Douglas VanOost II of Roosevelt Park; 3 brothers, Matt (Kristan) Wagenmaker of Waxhaw, NC, Ben (Sophie) Wagenmaker of Quebec, Canada, Harvey (Robin) Wagenmaker of Fort Campbell, KY; 1 sister, Jessie Wagenmaker Enger of Grand Haven; 5 nieces and nephews, Shelby, Zachary, Evan, Nathan, and Abby; her grandmother, M. Jeanette Wagenmaker of Spring Lake; former husband, Aaron Johnson; step-son, Connor Johnson, both of Spring Lake; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas C. and Mary Elizabeth Woodin, and Edward Wagenmaker. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 Harvey St.,(231) 798-1100 with Rev. Eric Strattan officiating. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION at the funeral home will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday, and 1 hour prior to the service.
