To the Carlisle family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I have been a friend of the Carlisle grandkids for a long time and have had a chance to meet Mary. She was a wonderful lady and always so warm and friendly. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you in your time of sadness. She is in a better place now with the lord and i'm sure she is smiling down on all of you. God bless you all.##imported-begin##Misty Stordahl(Conley)##imported-end##
We are sorry for your loss. Mary always had a kind word and understanding heart. We thank God for the time we had to know her. Heaven is one happy place with her there. You are in our prayers Jesse...##imported-begin##Michael & Joan Anderson##imported-end##
I haven't seen a great deal of Aunt Mary in recent years but she certainly has had an impact on my life. I had the good fortune of growing up just down the road from my Grampa and Gramma Putney and I can remember when Aunt Mary and Aunt Lois, my youngest aunts, were still in high school. They were kind of big sisters and role models in their college pursuits, a first for the Putney clan of Oceana County. I bought my first car on special nephew terms from Aunt Mary, a 1963 Red Chevy Nova Sport, and I drove it until the wheels dropped off. A stickler for doing your best, she encouraged me to push my horizons beyond the valley where we lived. I wish her Farewell and Godspeed.##imported-begin##Mark E. Putney##imported-end##
Mary was a beautiful Christian lady, and very well thought of. I missed her at our Church and home Bible Study. I was happy to hear that her cancer had gone into remission, God was answering prayer! But, He had other plans for her - her work here was done, and now she is "absent from the body and present with our Lord!" Praise His Name! Perhaps soon, we'll see her once again.##imported-begin##Margaret Brown##imported-end##
