To all of Mary's dear friends and family:
My heart is so sad and even though I have been an oncology nurse for 20 years , this is always still so hard..Katie Alguire and I always said Mary was a hoot-one of our favorite ladies. She always spiced up my Wednesdays at the cancer center!!
Mary was perfect- she did every treatment-- everything asked of her . It's not fair and there is no answer for why. My mom died of ovarian cancer at 53..she was a lot like Mary in many ways..i always thought that.

Liz, I was so sorry to hear about your mom's death. We didn't realize she was in hospice. I was 28 when my dad died, so kind of know what it's like, although dad was at home until the night he died. I'll keep you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers. I will send a memorial to Harbor Hospice. I have a card to send to you, but don't know your address or phone number. My thoughts and prayers are with Marys children and family at this time. Her smile and friendship will be very missed by me. One of my best memories was "Rocky Mountain Coolers" at least thats what I remember they were called oh what a night. When she was in the neighborhood she would always stop and have a conversation which was always lighthearted and funny. To all the skinny's and extended family...I am so very sad and sorry for your loss. Mary was such a good woman, God must have needed someone with open arms and a big heart.

I know you are grieving your loss, but I am praying that in time you can wrap your head and heart around the goodness Mary brought into each life she touched.

Death leaves a heartache no once can heal, BUT....Love is a memory no once can steal.....
