Mary Ellen Fitzgerald's Obituary
Ms. Mary Ellen Fitzgerald, age 53, passed away at her residence, Sunday, April 15, 2007, following a long illness. Mary was born in Muskegon on February 8, 1954 to Edward and Rosemary (Hollendshed) Lorenz. She has lived here her whole life, being employed throughout the years at Anton’s Bakery, Whitehall Products, and Denny’s. Mary Ellen is SURVIVED by her 9 children, Jackie (Scott) Visser , Tracy (fiance, Lloyd Dennison) Minzey , Angie (fiancé, Gary Croff) Williams, Rosie (fiance, Leo Aguila) Williams, Thomas (fiancé, Starla Franz) Williams, Michael (fiancé, Amy Matthews) Wheeler, Mary Corlew, Thomas (fiancé, Laketta Hancock) Fitzgerald Jr., and David Alan Fitzgerald, all of the Muskegon area; 14 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barb Camp of Muskegon and Lu Anne Evans of Petosky; 3 brothers, Jack Lorenz of Muskegon, Clyde(Cheryl) Lorenz of Montague, and Edward (Mary Ann) Lorenz of IL; and many nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Trevor Magner and brothers, Harold and Donald Lorenz. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2007 at John Wesley AME Zion Church (886 Wood St.) with the Rev. John Baker officiating. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family.
