Mrs. Mary E. Rakovits, age 91, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, in Muskegon. She was born May 29, 1915 in Montague to William & Rose (Bunke) Lorenz. On December 6, 1933 she married Joseph Rakovits and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1992. Together, they owned and operated J & M Vending prior to their retirement. Mary was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church. SURVIVORS include her son, Michael J. Rakovits; daughter-in-law, Delores Rakovits; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Vicki) Rakovits, Jeannette Rakovits, Lauri Eloise (Michael) Arthur and Joseph Rakovits; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren;3 sisters, Sophia Wyckhoff of Greenville, Julia Fabian of Coopersville and Betty DeGraff of Grand Rapids and by many nieces and nephews.
