Mary Jo Baglien's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jo Baglien, age 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, March 28, 2009 at home with her family by her side. She was born May 13, 1953 in Muskegon to Eric and Rose (Giuliani) Anderson. Mrs. Baglien was an LPN for private homecare for many years. Mary Jo met Christ as her savior in her teens and touched many people with the love of Christ she had in her heart. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, and friend. On May 3, 1975 she married Robert Baglien in Muskegon and he survives her along with their children, Andrea and Caleb Baglien; three sisters, Barb (John) Kracht, Kathy (Larry) Jennings, and Carmen Thompson all of Muskegon; and brother, Mike (Joan) Anderson of Muskegon. She is also survived by Robert’s family, Dan and Debbie Baglien, Linda and Rob McRae, Cindy and Tim Oegema, Kathy and Scott Alexander, and her beloved mother-in-law, Rita Walek. She also leaves wonderful memories to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Shannon Baglien. Mary Jo lived her faith and served the Lord by being involved with Kid’s Clubhouse ministry and the women’s ministries of First Wesleyan Church, where she was a member. Mary Jo was also involved with the La Leche League and was instrumental in organizing The Mom’s In Touch prayer ministry for the Reeths-Puffer School District. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at First Wesleyan Church (1040 E. Forest) with Rev. Richard K. Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at
