Maryl made forever impact on all of our 3 boys. Spot on in reading their personalities and looking out for their future and greater good success. She saw children for who they are and all they could be. I often find myself quoting her when encouraging other mothers of preschoolers. She will be missed and know whom she believed and trusted her life too. I am so sorry Ritsema Family
Maryl was Dan’s first teacher. As years went on he became part of the family. She had such a unique style of teaching. It was always fun helping out in her classroom. Three of our kids had Mrs. Ritsema as a preschool teacher and loved her! Chad and I both taught with Maryl and always appreciated her cheerfulness and enthusiasm and her contagious laugh! We bought the Ritsemas house, too, and I loved hearing the stories and memories she shared as we first toured it! I also admired her knowledge of flowers and gardening! She was a treasure! Praying comfort and peace for you all!
All three of the Visscher kids were Maryl’s students. Each of them Loved her in their own way. I enjoyed helping in her classroom and testing for kindergarten readiness.
