Mrs. Marylee (Cripe) Olson's Obituary
Marylee (Cripe) Olson, age 80, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 26, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marylee was born February 29, 1932 in Angola, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1987 and her companion of 17 years Charles Grenell in 2011. She is survived by her 5 children: Dan (Patricia) Olson , Garry (Rosalyn Routson) Olson, Eric (Beverly) Olson, Karen (Cal) Northrup, Lori (Jeff) Wier; 6 grandsons: Cal (Penny) Northrup, Matt (Rachel) Northrup, Bradley (Charissa) Olson, Max Olson, Michael Olson, and Alex Olson; 3 great-grandchildren: Kacie Northrup, Kenzie Northrup, and Levi Northrup; many loving family members & friends including her sister-in-law: Beverly (Larry) McMillan; special cousins: Marie (Ron) Heafey and Evelyn (Rube) Runyan; and Charles Grenell’s 6 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Paul Zager officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-7 PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Grandville Cemetery with a private family service.
