Mary Louise Fodrocy's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Louise Fodrocy, age 75, passed away Sunday evening, January 24, 2010 in Muskegon. She was born January 8, 1935 to George and Eva (Rozyski) Hylen in Panama City, Florida, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, volunteered in many areas of the church, and also worked at Mercy Hospital for several years. SURVIVORS include 8 children, Pamela (David) Peterson of Grand Rapids, Reyne (Steve) Miletich of Ludington, Steven Fodrocy of Twin Lake, Kristi Fodrocy of Mt. Pleasant, Robert (Pam) Fodrocy of Muskegon, Kathleen (Mark) Walters of Grant, Thomas Fodrocy of Twin Lake, Tammy (Joel) Ingersoll of Twin Lake; 18 grandchildren, Brian and Lindsay Magnuson, Heather (Jimmy) Newkirk, Stephanie Miletich, Stephen and James Fodrocy, Jessica (Eric) Flory, Caitlin and Samantha Fodrocy, Spencer Fodrocy, Ashley (Chris) Jensen, Eric and Alex Walters, Alexis and Rachel Fodrocy, Brooke, Bradley, and Madison Ingersoll; 5 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Savannah, Julian, Nevaeh, and Mateo; 1 brother, Richard (Gloria) Hylen; 5 sisters, Patricia (Richard) Owen, Judy (Clyde) Christopherson, Kathy (Jerry) Wensink, Rosemary (William) Brogren, Jeanne Kochin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Ronald Fodrocy; her son, Ronald Fodrocy, Jr.; and her brother, George Hylen. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown presiding. A gathering time with the family will be held at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd.(231) 759-8565 Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM, with the Rosary prayed at 7:30.
