Mr. Masil A. Brackenrich's Obituary
Mr. Masil Alexander Brackenrich, age 83, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 12, 2017 in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Brackenrich was born July 18, 1933 in Bellburn, West Virginia to Walter and Gladys (Clark) Brackenrich. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, was employed as an inspector at Brunswick Corp. for 40 years, retiring in 1996 and was a founding member of the Church of God United. On July 1, 1957 Masil married Fannie E. Boren, and she survives him along with 2 children, Randy (Teresa) Brackenrich, Thresea (Michael) Schneider; 3 grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin) Blackmer, Robert Schneider, Nicole (Matt) Blankstrom; 4 great-grandchildren, Avery, Violet, Anabelle and Joslyn; 1 sister, Anna Lee Smith; 4 brothers, Woodrow (Clare) Brackenrich, Roy Lee Brackenrich, Lewis (Lucy) Brackenrich, Mickey (Jay) Brackenrich. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Hilbert and Walter Brackenrich; 1 sister-in-law, Barbara Brackenrich; 3 step brothers and sister, Kathleen, Eugene and Lawrence. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 18 at Church of God United, 1630 Harvey Street, with Pastor Lynette Gillett officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
