Matthew Seth Johnson's Obituary
Matthew S. Johnson, age 44, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born on February 3, 1976 to Tom and Cyndy (Radel) Johnson in Muskegon. Matthew recently retired from Goodwill after 18 years of employment and attended Broadway Baptist Church. Matt was a very sweet and gentle man. He enjoyed bowling and watching his favorite television shows, Bonanza, The Andy Griffith Show, and Law and Order. Matthew is survived by his loving Mother, Cyndy Johnson; sisters, Larissa (Bob) Swanson and Meggan (Jon) Muchna; nieces, Jocelyn and Natalie; aunt and uncle Joanne and Ernie Webber; and aunt Sandy Wagner. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Johnson; and grandparents, Lester and Jeanette Radel, and James and Catherine Johnson. Due to current health restrictions, a private family service will take place at New Life Community Church. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442.
