My beloved son, my rainbow baby, Matthew Richard Kahkola, passed from this life and into life eternal on January 21st, 2022. His struggle is over. Instead of celebrating your birthday, I’m planning your funeral. You will forever be remembered for your love of all things fun, your heart for animals and your wonderful sense of humor. Born in Muskegon, Michigan, January 27th, 1981, to Mary Grandmason-Kahkola and Barry Kahkola. Matt is survived by both parents, his uncle Fred Grandmason, and sister Sandra Kahkola Johnson. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
