Mr. Matthew Austin Yates, age 22, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was born February 26, 1990 in Muskegon to Charles and Donna (Edwards) Yates. Matthew had been attending Evanston Avenue Baptist Church. SURVIVORS include his parents, Charles and Donna Yates; 1 sister, Niki Ranthum; 1 brother, Joshua (Alison Williams) Yates; his nephew and niece, Dennis and Ali Ramthun; and a host of extended family and friends. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2012 at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church (1188 Evanston Ave.) with Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating.
