Mattie M. Robbins' Obituary
Mrs. Mattie M. Robbins, age 87, died Monday morning December 5, 2005. She was born April 24, 1918 in Pentwater, MI to Lewis and Elizabeth (Markel) Shafer, and had been a Muskegon area resident for the past 60 years. Mrs. Robbins worked for the George Morrell Company for 35 years before retiring. She had been a member of the River of Life Assembly of God Church for many years. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed her family, and they survive her, including 4 children, Kenneth (Jean) Robbins, Nancy (Tom) Zeller, Sandra (Frank) Griggs all of Muskegon, Terri (Bob) Rudnick, Jr. of Ferry, MI; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Edith Wickenhiser, Rita Robbins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roland Robbins, Jr.; grandson, Shawn Robbins; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Richard K. Bennett and Pastor Patrick Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at
