From all Gene's friends and neighbors at Brookfield Park Condominiums, we send our heartfelt sympathy to his family. Truly a great life and a great guy!
Just wanted to send my condolences to the Joslyn family and celebration as he is in Heaven with God. "Grampa" Jos was always caring, kind, and generous to me. From an early time growing up with Erik, he always welcomed me into his home and always made me feel part of the family! Whether it was walks to his house after school for cookies, rides to and from practices, games, or other events, or just times when I was at Erik's house and he was there, he always showed care and love. He was a great man and I am blessed to know him and be able to experience the legacy passed down in the Joslyn family! To all the Joslyn's - Thanks for letting me be part of the family and truly feel like it was right to call Gene "Grampa" Jos!
To the family of Gene, I was honored to have the opportunity to work with Gene on a number of occasions to help him rehabilitate his aches and pains. During those times I learned what a wonderful man he was. His love of God, his family, his service to our country and his bowling made for many great conversations. I always looked forward to his appointments, his cookies, and his occasional calls to check in. I am so thankful that my wife Tera got to meed Gene as we visited him this past Christmas at his apartment in Spring Lake. I know Gene is smiling and happy to be reunited with his wife and his Lord. Thank you for sharing Gene with us and may God watch over you all as we mourn his loss.
We would like to extend our sympathy to the family of Gene Joslyn. He was a kind & cheerful man. We were happy to have him & his wife as members of First CRC. May you experience God's comfort at this time.
