To the Cox family:
I only knew "Pete" as my tax consultant for the past several years, but we had many good conversations and it was obvious he was a kind and gentle man — with a good sense of humor.
My last visit, in April 2004, we talked about our futures and our working situations. Pete said he would hold out as long as he had good health; I agreed with that idea, since I'm about the same age. I think he was happy being at work and being needed.
I had purchased a new Chrysler 300M Special at the time, and he said his wife also was driving that vehicle. We talked about cars and camping out.
My very deepest condolences to all of the Cox's, including those whom I know — Frank and Christie. I'll be thinking about Pete.
Sincerely,
