I was so saddened to hear of Maurine's passing. I met her through Don when he did deliveries for us (Progressive Systems) and we became good friends. I would always save them a parking space at my house for Coast Guard and we would watch the fireworks together. Don made sure he stayed in my good graces by bringing me chocolate truffles and I very much enjoyed Maurine's chocolate cake! I loved all the recipes she would share on FB. They were like second-parents to me and were always interested in the well-being of my family. I always valued their opinion and knowledge so they made sure I brought the guy I had been dating to their house so they could go through the interrogation and approval process before we were married. While wintering in Florida, they were always sure to remember me with a postcard. I will miss Maurine's twinkling smile, humor, and compassion. She and Don were the sweetest couple so I'm glad they are now reunited for eternity...
