Max Robert Ryznar's Obituary
Max Robert Ryznar, age 37, died on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Max is survived by his parents, Joe and Kitty Ryznar, his daughter, Norah, brothers, JD and Ben (Tina), nephew and nieces, Gary, Donna and Kitty, 26 aunts, uncles and many, many cousins. He is also survived by his special friends, Jeremy and Courtney Cobb and Mandy Paquin. Max was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Wanda Ryznar, John and Fidelis O’Toole and sister-in-law, Leah. Max was a kind and gentle person who would do anything to help the people he loved. A hard-working blue-collar man, creative genius, loving father, attentive grandson, loyal son, and hilarious brother; Max struggled with bi-polar disorder since he was a teenager, a condition that caused challenges, but that he never let interfere with those values. Music and playing guitar were a big part of Max’s life, and he loved skateboarding, “vidya games”, “cig-rits” and baseball, but what made him the happiest was his time outside in the woods at his family’s cabin on the river. Max was one-of-a-kind; a man with a special mind and heart that will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. In dying, Max became a Gift of Life donor – truly living on by helping others. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 Sixth St.) with Deacon Bill Cook presiding. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday with a 7:30 PM Scripture Service at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Norah Ryznar Educational Trust. Sign the guestbook online at www.sytsemafh.com
