Maxine M. Boucher's Obituary
Maxine Myrtle Boucher, age 102yrs 2mo went home to be with our Lord on May 10th, 2023.
She was born March 7, 1921 in Muskegon to Frederick L. and Clara “Helen” (Bromley) Barnhard and was a lifelong resident.  She was the 3rd child of 9 and the only one who graduated with a high school diploma in 1941.
On April 11, 1942 she married Marcel ‘Frenchy’ Boucher and became a lifetime member of St. Jeans Catholic Church. She was active in St. Jeans Church, Muskegon Woman’s Club and Loaves & Fishes Food Bank.
Then as empty nesters she and her husband enjoyed many yearly trips, including overseas trips. She generously donated to Mercy Hospital every year for many years, teddy bears with handmade outfits and knitted hats for newborns. She enjoyed being outdoors and did her own yard work until age 87. Later she kept busy by joining two bridge groups, went on short daily walks and at 100 still lived independently until Sept 2021.
Survivors include 3 grandchildren Laura Williamson of Battle Creek, Andrew (Autumn) Boucher of Battle Creek, and Richard Boucher Jr of Muskegon and 3 great grandchildren Jake, Josephine and Marcus. Her very good friend and sister-in-law Barbara Boucher of Muskegon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, both sons Arnold M and Richard M, grandson Christopher, granddaughter Ann Marie Boucher, all 4 sisters, Margaret, Leone, Donna, Joyce, and all 4 brothers, Robert, Warren, Merle, and Dale.
Per her wishes no services. Burial at St Mary’s Cemetery.
