Maxine Morgan's Obituary
Mrs. Maxine Morgan, age 86, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, November 15, 2014. She was born November 23, 1927 in Muskegon to Leonard and Maude (King) Tawney. Maxine worked for Teledyne Continental Motors for 31 years before her retirement. On September 21, 1946 she married Roland Morgan in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2000. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Terry (Roger) Hansen of Norton Shores; son, Dennis (Patti Girocco) Morgan of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 grandchildren: Kelly (Todd) George, Jennifer (Jayson) Barangan, Melissa Morgan, Dennis Morgan, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren: Logan, Rylee, Milo, Lulu, Madison; brother, Charles (Phyllis) Tawney of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Tawney and a sister, Jean Gillespie. A CELEBRATION OF MAXINE’S LIFE will be held 2-4 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at The Lee Chapel Family Center, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
