Maxine B. Russell's Obituary
Mrs. Maxine B. Russell, age 98, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on March 12, 1920 to Daniel and Selma (Anderson) Semelbauer. Maxine enjoyed cooking, traveling, and being outdoors. On October 19, 1940, Maxine married Norman C. Russell and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1994. She is survived by one grandson, Daniel Russell, Jr.; one sister, Doris Doud; two nieces, Judy Salsbury and Susan (William) Graham; and two nephews, Jeff (Tammy) Meyers and Rick (Jackie) Doud. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Russell, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Russell; brother, Melvin Semelbauer; two sisters, Ardith Bregovits and Jeanne Meyers; and her faithful white German Shepard, Buttons. According to Maxine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside will be held.
