Maxine A. Siiter's Obituary
Mrs. Maxine A. Siiter age 84, passed away early Friday, October 8, 2004. She was born on July 5, 1920 to Julius “Bill” and Helen (Crawford) Chessey, and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On June 14, 1939 she married Amos A. Siiter in Cloquet, Minnesota and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1978. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Dr. Roland (Diane) Siiter of Sparta, New Jersey, and 1 daughter, Mavis Schalk of Norton Shores. She was a loving Grandmother to her grandchildren, Matthew (Frances) Schalk of Ferndale, MI, Melinda (Jon) Geer of Caledonia, MI and 1 great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by 1 brother, Bill Chessey of White Bear Lake, MN; and 1 sister, Phyllis Wreath of Ravenna, MI. Maxine was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Virgina Anderson of Two Harbor, MN. According to her wishes, there will be no service but visitation with the family will be 4 – 7 PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W.
