Maxine G. Davis' Obituary
Maxine G. Davis, age 83, passed away at Heartland Greenview in Grand Rapids on August 21, 2007. She was born August 16, 1924 in White Lake, SD to Richard M & Lulu B. (Harrison) Scott. She moved to Muskegon in 1946 and married M. Phil Davis where she resided until his death in 1995. She lived her final years in Grand Rapids. SURVIVORS include her son Roger (Cheryl) Davis of Ada; grandsons, Christopher (Elizabeth) of Rockford and Marc of Grand Rapids; granddaughters, Cierra and Alayna of Rockford; sisters, Margaret Harris, Eva Butcher, Edna Thomas and Betty Lou Hossel all of South Dakota; brother, Jack Scott of Dallas, TX. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 1, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.
737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210) with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with Maxine’s family will be one-hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL GIFTS to either the Grand Rapids’ Home for Veterans or the DeVos Children’s Hospital will be appreciated.
