May A. Fazakerley's Obituary
May A. Fazakerley, age 83, passed away on December 24, 2018 in Grand Haven. She was born on July 22, 1935 to Clark and Alice (Coles) Shavalier in Muskegon. May worked as a clerk at the Muskegon City Hall prior to retirement. She was a former member of the Church of God United where she was active in Sunday School and kids programs. May had a passion for her family, her precious three dogs and tending to her garden. May married Paul Fazakerley Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2008. SURVIVORS include 6 children; Paul Jr., Terri (Ken) Merkins, Glen (Beth) Fazakerley, Gail Fazakerley, Yvonne (Vern) Wilson and Randy (Robin) Fazakerley; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Ann Provencher and brother, John Shavalier. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
