Mrs. May Theresa Sietsema's Obituary
Mrs. May Theresa Sietsema, age 92, passed away early Saturday morning, July 27, 2013. She was born May 1, 1921 in Muskegon Heights, MI to Stephen and Theresa (Beluzar) Madasy. May was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, the Social Seventies Club, the Senior Center, and the Travel Trailer Club. She also enjoyed crocheting and traveling. On April 26, 1947 she married Harold J. Sietsema in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1985. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Beverly Sanford of N. Muskegon, Harry Sietsema of North Muskegon/Ariz., Annie (Dave) Myers of Okla./N. Mex.; 3 grandchildren, Rob Toney, Angela (Bruce) Cooper, Jessica Lynn; 2 great-grandchildren, Kimberlynn Carlson and Ashley Cooper; 3 sisters, Rose Goven, Helen Chase, Alice (Bill) VanDonkelaar; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Julia Gundy and son-in-law, Larry Sanford. SERVICES will be 12 Noon Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with the Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated.
