Melanie A. Wilson's Obituary
Melanie Ann (Stenseng) Wilson passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at age 69 after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Muskegon, Melanie was a wonderful and beloved wife, mother and sister. With her husband Dave, she enjoyed travel, golf and boating and much more. As an artist, Melanie made beautiful hand woven pine needle baskets. A graduate of Mona Shores High and Central Michigan University Melanie made a career in accounting with Howmet and later co-owned Wilson Construction Company. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David, her daughter Angela, sisters Jeanine (Tom) Ober and Sharon (Bill) Johnson, Nephew Tyson Schubert, great nieces Madeline Schubert and Lola Schubert. She is also survived by David's sisters Linda (Frank) Tally, Janet Wilson (Michael) Theobald, and brother Greg (Kim) Wilson as well as nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews on the Wilson side of the family. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Delores Stenseng. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 15 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49441. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM.
