Melissa L. Nash and Justin M. Ducham's Obituary
Melissa “Missy” Lynn Nash, age 37, and Justin Matthew Ducham, age 39, died very tragically early Saturday morning, March 9, 2019, as the result of a car accident. We take comfort in knowing that even death could not separate them as they were bonded together by an unbreakable love. They were engaged to be married on October 18, 2019. Missy was born October 4, 1981 in Owosso, MI to David J. Nash and Brenda Slone. Justin was born March 10, 1979 in Saginaw, MI to David M. Ducham and Linda S. Favara. Justin was the owner of Auto Pro, Inc. the past 20 years. Missy worked as a receptionist at Inspired Health and was currently completing her degree in medical pharmaceuticals at Baker College. Justin and Missy were always taking adventures and especially enjoyed riding on Justin’s Harley-Davidson. Justin had the house, but Missy made it a home where they together were raising Graysen and Fayth. Justin took his role as step-father very passionately and Missy was the most thoughtful and kind-hearted mother, daughter and sister anyone could ask for. Justin had a heart the size of Texas which is what endeared Missy to him so easily. He was always joking around and making people laugh with his witty sense of humor and silly faces. Together, they made this world a much better place and together is where they will now spend in eternity. Justin and Missy are survived by their two children, Graysen Evans and Fayth Wilds; Missy’s parents, David J. Nash, Brenda Slone and step-mother, Diane Nash; Justin’s parents, David Ducham and Linda & Patrick Henderson; Missy’s grandmother, Angeline Nash; Justin’s sisters, Jen (Kevin) Stempky, Linsey (Jeff) Konieczny; Missy’s brothers and sisters, Joseph (Jessie) Nash, Hayden (Miranda) Fondren, Dawson Nash, Chasity Furse, Karly (fiancé, Kevin Davis) Brott; their nieces and nephews, Emma, Connor, Jakson, Rylee, Gavin, Brysen, Kaiden, Karter, Taryn, Caleb, Emerson, Brooklyn, Hudson, and Parker; several aunts, uncles and cousins of both Justin and Missy; and their beloved dogs, Maizee and Marley. Missy was preceded in death by her brother, Chance Nash; and Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Helen Favara and Robert & Kathleen Ducham. A combined Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Port City Church (3387 Heights Ravenna Road) with Pastor Steve Derdowski officiating. Visitation will be held 2-9 PM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be given to the Education Fund for Graysen Evans and Fayth Wilds or Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Sign the guestbook online at www.sytsemafh.com
