Mrs. Melva Clee Crawford's Obituary
Melva Clee Crawford, age 92, is going home to be with her Lord. She was born December 2, 1924 in Atlanta, Georgia to Merrill and Nell Wade. She married Howard W. Crawford, September 14, 1945 in Highland Park, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by her children Nancy (Stephen) Rumley, Martha (Robert) Wampler, Barbara (Mark) Cushing, and Donald (Michelle) Crawford; 17 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and twin great-great grandchildren. When Melva was thirteen, she realized that she was a sinner and received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She lived in newness of life sharing the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection in her church ministries; in mission work (SEND Alaska), and Children’s Bible clubs in her home and schools. A Home Going Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at The Sheridan Drive Baptist Church, 84 S. Sheridan Drive, Muskegon, MI with Pastor Stephen Rumley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church (Noon until 1 PM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Muskegon County.
