God blessed me with the world’s best brother-in-law! To have Mel in my life for over 70 years, making family memories through the good times and difficult times meant even more to me because my dad passed away when I was only 13 years old. He and my sister filled that void, especially at every holiday time, which was greatly appreciated by my mom and I. He was greatly loved by his family. It’s as though I am not only feeling my sorrow to not be able to share time with him anymore, but I feel the sorrow of each one of his kids and grandchildren because you can see the love they have for him. What fun they had with him. So many wonderful memories! The great grandchildren are quite young and not able to understand. So thankful we can turn to God at this time for comfort through Jesus.
