What a wonderful man that I'm sure went straight to Heaven. Rosie and Joe...I'm so happy to have shared in a small part of Mel's life as well as with your entire family. Florida happy hours, dining out and most importantly morning coffee conversations! Always fun, interesting and filled with so many laughs from neighbors, family and friends. Mel will truly be missed but his smile and wise words will stay in my heart forever. Big hugs with happy tears being sent your way
I remember when we went fishing with Uncle Melvin in Ludington and had a lot of good times together over the years. I cannot say a bad thing about him. My Mother his sister lived to be 93. His father and my Grampa John Woolf were good role models for the family. I will miss him. Uncle Melvin was just a good all around guy that enjoyed life to the fullest.

Dear Ike and family,
Carolyn called me about your Father and I want to tell you I am so sorry. What a great guy when I talked to him!
Praying for comfort that only HE can provide.
Sincerely,
